A group of masked anti-Israel protesters gathered outside the Board of Deputies of British Jews in north Camden, London, coinciding with the third anniversary of the October 7 massacre. The 20-minute demonstration featured Iranian, Irish, and Palestinian flags, alongside aggressive banners accusing the organization of acting as a mouthpiece for Israel.

Police Intervention and Arrests

Metropolitan Police officers responded swiftly to the disturbance. Five individuals were arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred following chants promoting an intifada. The suspects remain in police custody while authorities maintain heightened vigilance around communal institutions.

Community Response

We will not be allowed to be threatened or intimidated by a small, extremist minority in British society. We will continue tirelessly to represent the Jewish people here and around the world, said Board of Deputies President Phil Rosenberg.

The Community Security Trust (CST) condemned the timing of the protest as a deliberate and offensive provocation, highlighting the persistent extremism within anti-Israel demonstrations.
