Haifa's first food festival is underway. From Tuesday to Thursday, between August 11 and 13, Haifa will host its first food festival. The event will feature dishes by Israel Aharoni, Moshik Roth, Guy Gamzu, Avi Biton, Rachel Ben-Alloul, Hamudi Oklah, Rola, Rasif 33, Agadir, Ruby Michael, as well as Sherry and Michal Ansky. Dishes will cost up to 45 shekels, showcasing stars of Arab, Druze, Asian, and Israeli cuisine, including dim sum, khachapuri, Tibetan momo, empanadas, arais, asado sandwiches, matcha, bubble waffles, ice cream, hot knafeh, churros, ICE BALL popsicles, and traditional sweets. New business lunches at Cafe Bollywood

Cafe Bollywood has launched a thali business lunch served on traditional stainless steel plates, featuring new additions like rajma (slow-cooked red beans in a spiced tomato and onion sauce) and kadai paneer. The thali is vegetarian (89 shekels) or vegan (79 shekels) and includes 3 dishes. A mini thali option with one dish, rice, chapati, and dal is available for 55 shekels. Florentin Quarter, Tel Aviv.

New tasting menu at R48 Chef table

Chef Ohad Salmon's tasting menu is being updated with new dishes. The 11-course meal costs 620 shekels per diner (excluding drinks). New items include a crispy yuba cracker, white corn cream, roasted soy powder, and macadamia; cucumber maki with red tuna, pickled daikon noodles, and local wasabi from the Nishi farm in the Golan Heights; blanched wasabi leaves filled with tuna tartare and salicornia with a consommé of verjuice, lime, and apple; citrus parfait, crispy wonton, jasmine and cherry cream; rice and koji mousse, jaggery caramel, pumpkin crumble, and calamansi; and an île flottante, a take on a classic French dessert with burnt cassia anglaise, steamed meringue, and caramelized grué crumble. Jalapeno menu at Shake Shack

The burger chain has launched a menu featuring a Jalapeno Cheddar Burger (49 shekels); Jalapeno Cheddar Chicken Shack (49 shekels); Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage (43 shekels); Jalapeno Cheddar Fries (31 shekels); and Jalapeno Lemonade (17 shekels). Jalapeno Cheddar sauce is available separately for 11 shekels. At all Shake Shack branches.

Grimace Shake returns to McDonald's

After becoming a global internet phenomenon, McDonald's Grimace Shake returns in a limited edition this August at 100 branches. For the summer vacation, the chain is also offering exclusive app benefits: from August 10-13, 2 children's meals for 50 shekels, and from August 17-20, 12 nuggets for 30 shekels.

Decadent burger menu at Ames

14 new dishes at Kampai Street Wok

Pizzas with chips at Papa John's

Papa John's is offering 3 new pizzas: with Osem Tapuchips; with garlic parmesan sauce, Bulgarian cheese, a five-cheese blend, and mozzarella; and a honey mustard sauce pizza with pineapple, Kalamata olives, and red onion, plus a sweet chili pizza. A package of three personal pizzas is 86.90 shekels, or an L-sized pizza for 94.90 shekels. At all branches.

Bandit launches lobster burger

Bandit by Chef Yossi Shitrit is launching a new happy hour and a new lobster burger. It is served with sour cream and anchovy aioli, Gruyere cheese, pickled onion, pickled jalapeno, and crispy lettuce. The deal includes a glass of wine or Estrella Damm beer for 80 shekels.
