A bizarre incident at Chicago O'Hare International Airport went viral after a video captured a large green bird attacking passengers waiting in line at Terminal 5. The featherless-necked parrot-like bird dove at travelers near the Air France check-in counter.
During the unusual event, the bird perched on people's heads, landed on luggage, and even tried to bite tired passengers. Airport worker Paris Albert, who filmed the viral video, told CBS Chicago that the chaos lasted for hours during his Tuesday afternoon shift.
After hours of commotion, the animal encounter finally ended when an airport cleaner managed to catch the bird using her shirt. Albert added that the worker took the bird for a veterinary checkup to assess its health and determine if it was a lost pet.
