Ministry of Health Director-General Moshe Bar Siman-Tov visited Rambam Hospital in Haifa today, where he met with families of wounded soldiers and spoke with the medical teams and hospital management. The visit took place against the backdrop of tense discourse and racist statements heard in recent days against healthcare employees from the Arab community, with Bar Siman-Tov choosing to convey a firm message of backing and partnership.

Rambam Hospital has admitted hundreds of wounded soldiers since the beginning of the war, many of them in serious condition. Following complaints about alleged abuse towards wounded fighters, the hospital management conducted an investigation and decided to reject them. The trust that the system enjoys stems from our commitment to the mission and from the fact that all parts of society are represented in it, as caregivers and as patients," declared Bar Siman-Tov.
