Israeli war correspondent declines to cover water park incidents: 'I have boundaries'

Itai Anghel is one of the leading war journalists in the world, and certainly in Israel. His films from conflict zones across the globe hold a place of honor in Israeli history, but even he was not prepared for the recent events at one of Israel's well-known leisure spots.
In recent days, the Yamit 2000 water park in Holon has become a scene of severe violence. A mass brawl broke out on Saturday, leading to the temporary closure of the complex to visitors. Just one day later, another violent incident was recorded, this time a heated argument between mothers.
Journalist Itai Anghel, known as a man who is not afraid to enter dangerous places to secure a good story, addressed the events at the water park on Monday, noting that despite his extensive experience, he is not willing to go there.
Following the unusual events at the popular water park, a dramatic photo was published online, created using artificial intelligence, which supposedly showed Anghel entering the park. Anghel did not remain silent; he shared the image and wrote: 'Thanks, but no. I also have boundaries,' accompanied by an eye-rolling emoji.

Also, last month, an especially violent brawl broke out inside the park's pool complex and continued outside the premises as well. The altercation led to the arrest of four young men, residents of East Jerusalem.
