Israeli Police Arrest Man Suspected of Sex Offenses Against 150 Minors

Unit 105 of the Lahav 433 police division is conducting an investigation against a resident of northern Israel in his 30s, who was arrested on suspicion of committing sex offenses against minors. According to the police, the suspect confessed to the allegations during his interrogation and confirmed that he corresponded with approximately 150 minor girls and engaged in explicit sexual conversations with them.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday, September 22, on suspicion of sexual harassment and committing an indecent act against a minor under the age of 14. His arrest followed a covert investigation launched after several reports were received at the police hotline and complaints were filed at various stations regarding his actions.
According to the suspicion, the man contacted minor girls aged 9 to 13 via WhatsApp and TikTok, sent them sexually explicit messages, and asked them to perform sexual acts themselves. The police stated that during his interrogations, the suspect confessed to the allegations and confirmed corresponding with about 150 minors. It was further claimed that he deleted the profiles from which he allegedly committed the offenses because he knew his actions were wrong.
The Rishon LeZion Magistrates' Court extended his remand until Sunday, September 27.
