Children's star Roy Boy (Roi Oz) is considered one of the most prominent figures in the Israeli cultural landscape. This coming Hanukkah, he is expected to star in a show alongside Kofiko — a cultural icon for over seven decades; the name chosen for this intriguing production is "The Heroes". Today, Tuesday, it was learned that the upcoming holiday season will be particularly busy for the star, as he was officially cast in a central role in the much-discussed musical "The Dragon Guardians", according to a report by Maariv. The glittering production, which is set to be performed on leading stages across the country, is produced by Elad Yosef, Magen Sabag, and Asi Stav.
Roy Boy has firmly established his status as the "child of nature and adventure". His big break to the general public occurred in 2012 with the release of his first DVD and series, "Roy Boy - Safari Fighter", which became a huge hit among children. Since then, the character of Roy Boy — identified by his signature cowboy hat, safari clothes, and connection to animals and nature — has starred in successful television series on HOT and YES, in sought-after theater plays, and in massive shows across the country.
As a reminder, in the show "The Heroes", he will perform in various venues across the country, from Dan to Eilat. The show is intended for the whole family and will run between November 29, 2025, and January 21, 2026. The plot of "The Heroes" follows the story of Roy Boy and Kofiko spending a vacation in Greece during the Hanukkah holiday.
