Yousef Jabareen, chairman of the Joint List, stated in an interview with CNN that his faction will not join any governing coalition unless the new government formally recognizes the Palestinian right to independence.

Despite this condition, Jabareen signaled openness to potentially supporting a minority government from the outside to unseat Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This stance aligns with previous positions maintained by the Joint List, including remarks by Ta'al faction leader Ahmad Tibi, indicating a willingness to provide external backing without entering the cabinet.

As part of ongoing political coordination, Jabareen is scheduled to meet today with The Democrats leader Yair Golan. Meanwhile, Avigdor Lieberman recently revealed that the Shin Bet is investigating allegations of foreign funding and interference involving the Joint List.

According to Lieberman, the Palestinian Authority allegedly attempted to influence the electoral outcome in favor of the Joint List using funds funneled through Qatar. The Shin Bet inquiry focuses on whether these financial transfers were utilized to boost voter turnout within the Arab sector and examines the specific origins of the capital.
