Toddler Severely Burned by Boiling Coffee in Jerusalem Hospitalized

A two-year-old toddler suffered moderate burns to her upper body in Jerusalem after a cup of boiling coffee spilled on her at home. Ichud Hatzalah emergency medical teams provided initial lifesaving treatment at the scene before evacuating her to Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

The incident occurred on Saturday morning. Medics who rushed to the family's home found the toddler suffering from burns and severe pain, immediately cooling the affected area and stabilizing her condition.

Ichud Hatzalah medic and ambulance driver Yoni Elzara reported that family members explained the boiling coffee spilled on the child. After providing first aid, he transferred her to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in moderate condition.
