An Iranian government aircraft landed in the Saudi capital of Riyadh on Tuesday, according to the Iranian Tasnim news agency. The report stated that the government delegation arriving in the kingdom is led by the Iranian Minister of Science, Research, and Technology.

The minister arrived to participate in the fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence. During the visit, in addition to participating in the forum's programs, the minister will hold meetings and discussions with officials and representatives from participating countries.

This announcement came less than two hours after sirens sounded in the Saudi cities of Jeddah, Taif, and even Islam's holiest city, Mecca. According to reports, the sirens were triggered following the launch of a missile by the Houthi terrorist organization, a group backed by Iran.
