The IDF remains on high alert across multiple fronts following the destruction of a major Hezbollah underground complex in the Ali Taher ridge on Thursday, alongside the elimination of the commander of Hamas's Khan Yunis Brigade in the Gaza Strip. According to the IDF, the demolished Hezbollah infrastructure spanned over two kilometers and contained dozens of Iranian-produced rockets, missiles, and drones, alongside anti-tank missiles and explosive devices. More than 1,100 tons of explosives were used to dismantle the network, which was built over two decades with Iranian funding and guidance. Northern Command and the Israeli Air Force are prepared for potential multi-front escalations, while the Israeli Air Force recently completed an additional series of strikes in Lebanon. Simultaneously, in the Gaza Strip, the IDF and the Shin Bet eliminated Muhammad Yazouri, commander of Hamas's Khan Yunis Brigade, along with a company commander and another operative. Yazouri was one of the senior-most remaining Hamas commanders in Gaza, responsible for directing attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. This targeted strike is part of an ongoing military effort to prevent Hamas from rebuilding its military capabilities, smuggling drones, and rehabilitating its tunnel networks during lulls in combat.
