IDF Intensifies Operations Around Al-Mansouri in Southern Lebanon
Following military efforts in the Ali Taher ridge, the IDF is intensifying its operations around the town of Al-Mansouri in the western sector of southern Lebanon, near Majdal Zoun. The town is located within the yellow line marked by Israel, yet it has not been fully cleared by troops.
As the northernmost populated area under Israeli security control, military officials assess that Hezbollah attempts to re-enter the area to launch attacks against IDF forces.

Systematic Cleansing by the 55th Paratroopers Brigade
In recent weeks, the 55th Reserve Paratroopers Brigade under Division 91 has been operating methodically in the Al-Mansouri area. The Israeli Air Force and artillery forces strike the area multiple times daily, targeting booby-trapped structures and vantage points overlooking IDF positions.
Simultaneously, combat engineering forces backed by armor and paratroopers are operating on the outskirts of the town to dismantle Hezbollah infrastructure. Defense Minister Israel Katz emphasized that the military is operationally prepared to secure the region and prevent any hostile return.
