Former Herzog Partners Launch Israel's First AI-Native Law Firm
Six senior partners from Herzog, Fox & Neeman, led by Guy Neeman and Lilach Kenan, are launching Israel's first AI-native law firm focused on corporate litigation and white-collar defense.
Six partners have recently left the Herzog, Fox & Neeman law firm, including Adv. Guy Neeman, head of the white-collar and special solutions department, and Adv. Lilach Kenan, to establish Israel's first AI-native law firm. They are joined by attorneys Hila Cohen, Philip Lifshitz, Tamar Maoz-Kenz, Roi Boker, Dana Hasson, and Adi Yehezkel-Yaffe.
The new firm will focus on corporate and commercial litigation, corporate governance, securities, and white-collar defense, located on HaHaskala Boulevard in Tel Aviv.
A New Technological and Organizational Model
Advocates Neeman and Kenan previously founded an independent firm in 2011, which merged in 2017 into Sharkon, Ben-Ami, Asher & Co. In May 2023, that firm merged into Herzog, Fox & Neeman, and now they are leaving Herzog alongside members of their original team.
The new firm introduces an innovative organizational model for litigation, replacing the traditional structure where a small number of partners manage layers of junior associates. Instead, the firm will operate on a Partner-led, low-leverage, and senior-leverage model, where approximately 80% of the firm's lawyers are partners and senior attorneys. According to the founders, advanced technology provides the senior team with research, analysis, and data processing capabilities that previously required extensive manpower.
Prof. Barak Orbach, an expert in law, business, corporate governance, and artificial intelligence, is joining the firm as a senior consultant to design AI workflows and training. Additionally, CIDAH, a technology company developing AI infrastructure for the corporate, legal, and financial sectors, operates alongside the firm.
Building a New Model from Scratch

They added: "This is the difference between AI-assisted and AI-native: technology is not an add-on to existing activity, but part of the infrastructure upon which the professional and business model is built."
