At least three people were killed and another person was injured when a helicopter crashed overnight between two commercial buildings in Chatsworth, a suburb of Los Angeles. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not yet released the exact number of passengers on board.

The 2004 Eurocopter aircraft was operated by local news station KCAL/KCBS. The crash occurred about 40 kilometers from downtown Los Angeles, near the scene of a fatal bus accident where emergency crews were already responding.

Upon impact, the helicopter came down near several vehicles and cargo containers, sparking a fire. Footage from the scene showed thick black smoke billowing from the site as firefighters extinguished the blaze, which damaged four vehicles and two storage containers.
