Disco queen Gloria Gaynor, 83, announced a one-night concert in Tel Aviv on April 13. The legendary singer, known for hits like "I Will Survive", will perform with a ten-piece band.

The undisputed queen of disco, Gloria Gaynor, at age 83, announced on Tuesday that she is returning to Israel for a one-night-only performance scheduled for April 13 at the Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv. Roughly a decade after she last commanded this very stage to an overwhelming embrace from local audiences, the legendary diva is returning, this time accompanied by a lush ensemble of ten musicians for a glittering and grooving evening.
Ticket sales for the historic concert are already underway. According to the Zappa clubs website, ticket prices start at 334 shekels for the 8th tier. Tickets for the 7th tier cost 404 shekels, while the 6th tier is priced at 474 shekels, and so on. A ticket for the first tier stands at no less than 864 shekels.
A Legacy of Timeless Hits
Spanning a career of more than five decades, Gloria Gaynor remains one of the most recognizable and powerful voices in the music world. Behind her are two Grammy Awards, an Icon Award at the World Music Awards, and a long string of timeless hits that shaped generations, including "Never Can Say Goodbye", "I Am What I Am", "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", and "Reach Out I'll Be There".
Shining above them all is, of course, her iconic 1978 anthem "I Will Survive", which entered the Grammy Hall of Fame and became a definitive international masterpiece symbolizing strength, resilience, and hope.
Humanitarian Work and Support for Israel
Beyond her musical contributions, Gaynor's humanitarian work has earned her widespread acclaim, including the Martin Luther King Jr. Award presented to her by former Israeli Consul General in New York Ido Aharoni. Recently, her list of achievements also grew to include the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors, one of the highest lifetime achievement decorations in the performing arts in the United States.
Even in her ninth decade of life, Gaynor proves that age is just a number as she continues to pack venues worldwide. Her upcoming performance in Israel promises an energetic, elegant, and unforgettable musical celebration.
Ticket vendors have issued a warning against purchasing tickets from unofficial bodies and online scalpers. "There are various websites on the market offering unverified tickets. Save yourself the heartache and purchase tickets only from official websites," they stated. Tickets sold by scalpers or third parties will not be honored at the venue box office or by Zappa-Customer service.
