The Givatayim Municipality has approved a series of new relaxations in the parking permit application process, aiming to make it simpler, friendlier, and more accessible. The easements were formulated following recurring cases handled by the municipality, such as moving between rented apartments, using a family member's vehicle, or delays in obtaining a succession order.

To adapt the process to residents' living realities and reduce bureaucracy, simpler and more flexible solutions were introduced. Residents living in rented apartments will no longer be required to present a new lease agreement to renew their permit, provided the original contract includes an extension option confirmed via email, electronic media, or a written addendum.

Additionally, for vehicles belonging to a first-degree relative, the validity of the affidavit has been extended from one to two years. Residents moving between rented apartments within Givatayim will receive a three-month temporary permit, and in cases where a property owner passes away before a succession order is issued, the temporary permit will be valid for a year from the date of death.

The municipality emphasizes that these procedures can be completed online via the city's website without visiting the department offices.
