Gideonim Unit and IDF Target 117 Terror Suspects in Major Jerusalem Raid

Special footage reveals the activity of the Gideonim unit as part of Operation Combined Fist, aimed at thwarting terrorist activity in Anata and Shuafat, two terror strongholds located minutes away from Jerusalem.
The Gideonim unit consists of undercover operatives who infiltrate the area and blend in, waiting for the right moment. After hundreds of Border Police and IDF fighters, guided by the Shin Bet, cordoned off the area, the signal was given and the unit launched the operation.
There were 117 individual targets in the crosshairs, mostly Shin Bet targets affiliated with Hamas. Disturbing intelligence lay behind the operation: intentions by terrorists in the area to carry out attacks during the Jewish holidays. The defense establishment decided not to wait, choosing to reach those planning the attacks long before execution.
Fighters moved alley by alley, door by door, raiding wanted suspects' homes, scanning for weaponry, and pursuing terror targets. The operation is jointly commanded by the Jerusalem Envelope Border Police Commander, Deputy Commander Eran Levy, and Benjamin Brigade Commander, Colonel Anan Fares. Border Police, the IDF, and the Shin Bet operated as a unified fist striking both locations simultaneously.
The operation is expected to continue with targets already marked, including at least 117 names, dozens of raids, and a race against time to reach terrorists before they strike.
