Egged Employees Receive 100 GEELY Starray EM-i Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles
Egged employees received around 100 GEELY Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid vehicles this week, with over 95% choosing the model in a periodic fleet update.
Egged employees recently received new private vehicles as part of the group's periodic employee vehicle replacement program. This week, approximately 100 GEELY Starray EM-i vehicles were delivered.
Beyond the sheer scale of the delivery, the selection rate was unusually high: over 95% of the employees who participated in the selection process chose GEELY's plug-in hybrid model. The festive delivery event took place at the Egged complex, with the participation of Ronen Yablon, CEO of GEELY Israel; Ilan Alkovsky, Maintenance and Headquarters Services Manager at the Egged Group; and Alex Wolfowitz, Fleet Sales Manager at Geo Mobility.

This milestone comes at a time when the Starray EM-i is establishing a significant presence in the Israeli market, with over 5,000 orders since the beginning of the year, alongside positive reviews in comparative tests against direct competitors in the plug-in hybrid segment.
