A foreign national and anti-Israel activist was arrested on Tuesday by Judea and Samaria District police on suspicion of incitement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and support for a terrorist organization. Intelligence operations uncovered footage of the suspect abroad wearing a shirt featuring a photograph of Netanyahu with crosshairs targeting his head and body. Following her interrogation, the suspect was detained and transferred Wednesday morning to the Population and Immigration Authority for a deportation hearing and future entry ban.

The case began several days ago following a report of a friction incident near Mitzpe Yair in the South Hebron Hills. Hebron police station officers rushed to the scene and launched an investigation, revealing that one of the participants was a foreign anti-Israel activist and co-founder of the MAC student organization, which operates against Israel following the events of October 7.

Further investigation raised suspicions that the activist supports the Addameer organization, designated by Israel as a terrorist organization in 2021. The Foreign Desk of the Judea and Samaria Central Unit subsequently conducted intelligence operations and examined the suspect's social media publications.

Investigators located documentation showing the suspect outside Israel wearing a shirt depicting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with crosshairs superimposed over his head and torso. Police view this publication as suspected incitement against the prime minister.

Arrest and Interrogation

On Tuesday evening, the suspect was arrested by Hebron station officers and taken for questioning. According to police, during her interrogation, she made various anti-Israel claims, including accusations of genocide. Police stated she claimed to have arrived in Israel to intern with Addameer and provide legal aid to Palestinian prisoners, whom she described as being held in concentration camps.

Following the conclusion of her interrogation, the suspect was jailed. On Wednesday morning, she was handed over to the Population and Immigration Authority for a hearing regarding her deportation from Israel and a potential ban on future entry.

Police noted that the arrest is part of a broader operation led by the Judea and Samaria District against foreign activists who arrive in the West Bank to participate in friction events and public disorder. According to police data, since the beginning of 2026, the entry of 160 foreign activists has been blocked, and over 60 others have been deported.

Official Response

Judea and Samaria District Commander, Superintendent Moshe Finchi, addressed the arrest:

Judea and Samaria District will continue to act decisively to prevent harm to the State of Israel and its global image, while deporting and preventing the arrival of foreign citizens, anti-Israel actors, and supporters of enemies and terror who arrive under the guise of aid and human rights organizations to delegitimize Israel worldwide.

Finchi added that the district's Foreign Desk works to prevent foreign activists from reaching friction points in the West Bank. Commenting on the suspect, he stated that beyond supporting and identifying with terrorism, the case involved explicit incitement against a sitting prime minister, crossing a clear red line.

At this stage, a final decision regarding her deportation has not yet been finalized, and proceedings continue with the Population and Immigration Authority.
