Dressed in a white shirt with tzitzit and a light skullcap, Golan overlooked the Western Wall plaza. Despite his signature look and prominent tattoos, the focus remained on the quiet, spiritual moment far removed from his usual roaring crowds.
Later in the evening, Golan sat beside a rabbi, switched to a black skullcap, and participated in writing letters in a Torah scroll. Holding a quill under the rabbi's guidance, the singer added his strokes with the illuminated Western Wall and Dome of the Rock in the background.
The event featured an elaborate festive meal with long tables set against the Jerusalem skyline, laden with salads, appetizers, and wine. Golan shared a message calling for unity and good news for the people of Israel.
