Late at night, a dramatic incident unfolded in the heart of Herzliya, leaving onlookers stunned. A new, rare Ferrari 296 convertible, valued at approximately three million shekels with all additions, suddenly caught fire in the middle of the road near Reichman University and was almost completely destroyed.

Following a report received by the Glilot police station, firefighters from the Herzliya station were dispatched to the scene. While they successfully extinguished the blaze, the sports car sustained severe damage. At this stage, investigators are examining the possibility of a failure in the electric battery, though other technical malfunctions have not been ruled out. Police confirmed there is no suspicion of criminal activity.

Passersby and drivers in the area were shocked to witness the Italian masterpiece being consumed by fire. Witnesses described the scene as surreal, watching a dream car typically seen only in movies destroyed within minutes.

The incident, which was captured on video, quickly became the talk of the town as images of the charred vehicle circulated on social media. As the owner faces significant financial loss, fire investigators continue to examine the source of the ignition to determine what caused the luxury car to turn into ruins within moments.
