Seven-year-old girl killed in accident laid to rest: "You were so happy when we prepared for school"

Hundreds of residents of Kafr Qara participated on Friday in the funeral of seven-year-old Siham Said Abu-Ful, who was killed yesterday in a tragic traffic accident. The girl was struck by a work vehicle driven by one of her relatives.

Her father, Said Abu-Ful, laid his daughter to rest and shared his heartbreak:

"She was in first grade, so happy when we bought her the clothes, books, and backpack for school. This was her first year in the new setting. Every day she would come back and tell me how happy she was, and we were happy along with her. But this joy has now turned into sadness and pain."

Abu-Ful added that he still struggles to process the magnitude of the disaster:

"I always heard about traffic accidents and families who lost their loved ones and I would feel sorry along with them. But only after I lost my daughter did I understand how great the pain is, a pain that cannot be described in words. It entered our hearts and our home, and every corner where we were used to meeting our girl."

In his closing remarks, the father thanked those who supported the family and addressed his daughter: "I wish success to all my daughter's friends at school. And to you, my daughter, I will miss you, and I will never forget you."
