When he was 15, David Galperin worked in a suit store in Bnei Brak. He arranged clothes, fetched models from the warehouse, and performed any task required. In his spare time, he was sent to distribute flyers. Even at night, when no one was watching, he ensured every mailbox received a flyer. Soon, clients began approaching him directly, impressed by his work ethic. "I learned that a word is a word, and that keeping a promise has real economic value," he recalls. This lesson became the foundation of his business.

A leading and close-knit team

David Galperin (43) was born in Kiev, moved to Toronto at 13, and immigrated to Israel at 15, where he studied at a yeshiva in Bnei Brak. Today, the marketing communications group "Gil Group," which he heads, employs over 80 people. According to company data, the annual turnover in 2026 stands at approximately 120 million shekels, with an average annual growth rate of about 20%. The group operates in production, advertising, and events, including printing, branding, and content projects.

Working alongside Galperin are people who have been with him since the beginning: Avinoam Elazara (since 1999), Shoshi Yaffe (since 2003, now CEO and partner), and Mazal Ben Harush (since 2005, VP of Marketing). "This is proof that a system can grow without losing the people who built it," Galperin notes.

Growth strategy and crisis management

In 2019, the group began developing digital operations specializing in the Haredi sector. Galperin emphasizes that the company's growth is based on identifying recurring client needs: "We don't chase trends; we build infrastructure from complementary activities." In 2023, the event production company "Ultra" joined the group, with Galperin holding a 50% stake.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Gil Group chose not to fire employees or place them on unpaid leave. "Leadership is not just optimism; it is preparation. We maintain a safety net to make decisions focused on the long term," he explains. This approach helped the company during the "Iron Swords" war, as the group actively supported the army and evacuees.

Investments and the future

Galperin attributes his analytical thinking to his yeshiva experience and his energy to the coaching methods of Tony Robbins. Since 2017, he has invested in external ventures, leading to the establishment of the hedge fund CENTENARIO CAPITAL LP with Emil Goldfarb.

"We still continue the flyer activity; it reminds us where we came from. There is no magic here: you see a need, keep your word, execute well, and build trust. Growth comes later," Galperin concludes.
