After nearly a decade together, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have married in an intimate ceremony in Portugal. Discover the details of the celebration, the photos, and the multi-million dollar ring gifted to his beloved.

Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest players in football history, and his beloved partner, model Georgina Rodriguez, have officially tied the knot. After nearly a decade together, the couple—who announced their engagement about a year ago—shared an official photo this evening of their wedding rings alongside their initials and a heart, confirming their new status as husband and wife.
According to international reports, the 41-year-old Portuguese footballer and 32-year-old Rodriguez held a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, in the presence of their five children.
Rodriguez announced their engagement exactly one year before the wedding, posting a photo of her hand resting on Ronaldo's, showcasing a large diamond ring estimated at approximately five million dollars. The two first met in 2016, when Rodriguez was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci boutique in Madrid.
In January 2017, they made their red carpet debut at the FIFA awards in Zurich, and by May of that year, they had made their relationship official on Instagram.
In her Netflix reality series, "I Am Georgina," the couple opened up about the start of their romance. Ronaldo described her as "a very interesting girl, much more mature for her age," adding that he never expected their connection to be so profound. He later realized she was "the woman of my life."
In December 2025, Rodriguez told Elle Spain about the marriage proposal, admitting she was completely caught off guard. Over the years, the couple has raised two children together alongside Ronaldo's three older children. In October 2022, the couple revealed they were expecting twins, though sadly, one passed away at birth.
While the couple has not yet released further documentation of the intimate event, reports preceding the wedding suggested a reception was planned at the luxury "Savoy Palace" hotel, where guests were notified that two floors and several bar areas would be closed for the private event.
Ronaldo, formerly of Manchester United and currently playing in the Saudi Pro League, met Rodriguez in 2016 and proposed in August of last year.
Ultimately, beyond the exceptionally luxurious engagement ring, it is estimated that the total cost of the wedding—including room rentals, security, and related expenses—could reach between 6.5 and 8.5 million dollars, or approximately 30 million shekels.
