Israel Police to Resume Investigation in Company Games Scandal
Israel Police will resume investigations into the "Company Games" sex abuse case following a Supreme Court petition, with updates due in 45 days.

In a dramatic development surrounding the high-profile "Company Games" scandal, the Israel Police are set to conduct a series of investigative follow-ups. The state announced this decision to the Supreme Court in response to a petition filed against law enforcement leadership.
The "Company Games" case involves severe allegations of sexual offenses, incitement, and the exploitation of at-risk teenage girls, allegedly committed by the late Danny Biton (the father of singer Eyal Golan) and other associates.
The current legal move follows a petition submitted to the Supreme Court by "N," one of the complainants in the case, represented by attorney Amit Manor. The petition severely criticized past testimony collection methods and the refusal to thoroughly investigate all involved parties.
The decision to carry out these investigative steps comes about five months after the State Attorney's Office ordered the case reopened following appeals by the complainants. Despite that directive, the head of the Investigations Department, Deputy Commissioner Boaz Blat, had initially frozen the proceedings and refused to authorize investigators to re-summon key suspects.
Now, following discussions between legal authorities, the police have reversed their stance and will begin executing portions of the investigative procedures. The state has committed to providing the Supreme Court with a detailed update on the findings within 45 days, after which the prosecution will formulate a final decision regarding the appeal.
