Channel 14's C14 Surges to Historic Digital Peak During Election Week
Channel 14's digital arm, C14, reached an all-time high during election week, pulling in 25.4 million page views and rivaling veteran news giant ynet.

The digital landscape of Israeli online media has undergone a major upheaval, as the C14 news website and mobile application—the digital arm of Channel 14—recorded an unprecedented historical peak during election week.
According to data from the international measurement firm SimilarWeb, the platform surged to the top of digital rating charts, outpacing veteran market leaders such as N12, Mako, Walla, Maariv, and Israel Hayom, and locking horns directly with the long-standing leader, ynet.
This impressive milestone is part of a comprehensive strategic overhaul by the Channel 14 group. The website was relaunched in its current format roughly a year and a half ago following a rebranding effort, massive investments in technological infrastructure, the rollout of an advanced mobile application, and a strong focus on live video streaming and round-the-clock news flashes.
The stated goal was to translate the channel's growing television viewership into the digital arena and establish a distinct alternative news hub to traditional media outlets.
The figures recorded during election week proved that the strategy exceeded all expectations. According to SimilarWeb, the site accumulated no less than 25.4 million page views in a single week—representing a meteoric surge of roughly 72% compared to the platform's previous traffic record, which was set last March during the opening week of the confrontation with Iran, when it reached approximately 14.8 million page views.
Surge in App Rankings and User Engagement
This sharp growth was equally evident in the mobile application arena. During the analyzed week, the C14 application ranked as the largest and most-watched live-content news app in Israel, outperforming all competing television channel applications. Within the broader category of news apps in Israel, C14 climbed to second place, trailing only ynet, which boasts 26 years of web history.
Beyond raw traffic volumes, the website demonstrated clear superiority in user engagement metrics. C14 led the industry in the average number of pages viewed per visit compared to all competing platforms, while recording the lowest bounce rate in the sector—a clear indicator that visitors did not merely land on the site, but stayed to consume content over extended periods. In total user session duration, C14 secured a respectable second place among all media outlets.
