British Airways announced it will resume daily flights to Ben Gurion Airport on October 25, marking a major milestone for Israel's aviation sector amid a period of foreign carrier hesitation. Alongside British Airways, its sister company Iberia will also restore its daily route to Madrid.

The return of these major carriers is seen as a vital boost for Israel's global connectivity. Tamar Garzon, CEO of Gulliver travel company, noted that London serves as a crucial gateway to destinations across Europe, North America, and the Far East, offering Israeli travelers greater flexibility and expanding flight options.

Industry experts point out that the influx of returning international airlines increases market competition, which benefits consumers through a wider variety of choices and potentially more attractive pricing. This wave of comebacks follows recent resumptions by Delta and United Airlines last month, with Air India also scheduled to return in December.
