Undercover Border Police officers arrested a senior terrorist suspect during a targeted operation in the West Bank village of Dan on Monday night, security forces reported.

The operation was conducted based on precise intelligence guidance from the Shin Bet and under the command of the Menashe Regional Brigade. According to the investigation, the suspect, a Fatah operative, had been evading security forces for an extended period while allegedly advancing terrorist activities and maintaining ties with hostile elements.

Forces arrived covertly at a local clothing store where the suspect was hiding, surrounded the building, and called upon him to surrender. Realizing he was cornered and unable to escape, the suspect walked out with his hands up and surrendered to the forces on site.

During the operation, the business owner was also arrested on suspicion of aiding the fugitive and concealing him in the store. A search of the premises yielded mobile phones and additional evidence. Both suspects were transferred to security forces for further interrogation.
