Baladi breaks records: 50% profit jump and dividend distribution
Israeli food manufacturer Baladi has reported record-breaking financial results for Q2 2026 and announced a 20 million shekel dividend distribution.

Baladi, a company engaged in the import, production, and processing of food products, has published its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. Alongside the report, the board of directors approved a dividend distribution of approximately 20 million shekels.
Key results for Q2 2026
Revenue in the second quarter of 2026 rose to approximately 357 million shekels, compared to 355.6 million in the same period of 2025. Gross profit increased by 30.9% to 100.2 million shekels (28% of revenue), up from 76.6 million shekels (21.5% of revenue) in the corresponding quarter of 2025. Operating profit grew by 53.5% to 65 million shekels (18.3% of revenue), driven by higher gross profit and improved operational efficiency. Net profit rose sharply by 49.5% to 38 million shekels, while EBITDA increased by 46% to 71 million shekels.
Results for the first half of 2026
Revenue for the first half of 2026 reached a record 768 million shekels. Gross profit increased by 25.4% to 195 million shekels (25.4% of revenue). Operating profit grew by 54.4% to 129 million shekels (16.8% of revenue), supported by improved gross margins and 3.3 million shekels in other income from the deconsolidation of a subsidiary. Net profit for the half-year rose by 45% to a record 81 million shekels, and EBITDA increased by 46.9% to 140 million shekels.
Balance sheet and outlook
Equity as of the end of Q2 2026 amounted to 566 million shekels (51.9% of the balance sheet). The company reports no reliance on any single customer, as no client accounts for 10% or more of total revenue. Baladi maintains a diverse product mix and a broad customer base across its target markets.
