Azurim Signs Reshet HaStock for New Express Store in Givat Shmuel
Azurim has signed a lease with retail chain Reshet HaStock to open a 350-square-meter store under the new Express format at the Shaar HaIr project in Givat Shmuel, with a multi-million-shekel investment.
Azurim real estate company has signed a lease agreement with Reshet HaStock, a prominent Israeli discount and retail chain, to open a 350-square-meter store at the Shaar HaIr project in Givat Shmuel. The project, which has already received Form 4 approval, involves a multi-million-shekel investment.
Under the five-year agreement, which includes a five-year extension option, the chain will launch its Express brand tailored for neighborhood commercial spaces. The store is scheduled to open early next year.
Dan Mor, head of Azurim Prime, stated that bringing leading retail brands to residents is a crucial part of developing mixed-use neighborhood centers that combine residential, commercial, and leisure spaces. He noted that the integration of Reshet HaStock under the new Express format strengthens the commercial mix and provides residents with accessible retail solutions within walking distance.
Ofer Barak, owner and CEO of the HaStock Group, added that the new branch represents another step in the group's expansion strategy and the development of the HaStock Express format. The format aims to bring the chain's shopping experience to neighborhood commercial centers, catering to the growing demand for accessible shopping solutions near home.
The Shaar HaIr project, located at the entrance to Givat Shmuel, is a residential and commercial complex developed by Azurim. It features three 29-story residential towers with approximately 367 apartments, alongside 3,400 square meters of commercial space, a shopping promenade, public areas, and a 5-dunam green park.
