Electra Real Estate Raises 200 Million Shekels in Rights Offering
Electra Real Estate has successfully raised 200 million shekels in a fully subscribed rights offering, bolstering its financial strength to pursue US real estate acquisitions.

Electra Real Estate, the real estate investment arm of Elco Group, has successfully completed a rights offering totaling approximately 200 million shekels, achieving a 100 percent subscription rate from shareholders.
The capital injection serves as a strategic move to reinforce the company's financial resilience, improve leverage ratios, and secure high liquidity amid a challenging macroeconomic environment. Market observers noted that securing this amount entirely from internal sources without underwriting reflects strong confidence in the company's asset portfolio and future appreciation potential.
Strategic Expansion in the US Market
Company CEO Amir Yaniv welcomed the successful completion of the fundraising, emphasizing its financial significance. "The full response to the rights offering is a meaningful expression of confidence by shareholders in Electra Real Estate and its long-term strategy," Yaniv stated. He added that the current market environment in the United States creates substantial opportunities for experienced players to pursue attractive acquisitions.
The newly raised funds will primarily support Electra Real Estate's ongoing operations in the United States, where it manages extensive portfolios including multifamily residential complexes, debt funds, single-family rental homes, and hospitality assets, primarily across the Sunbelt states. The turbulence in the US real estate market caused by rising interest rates has created a credit crunch for local developers, presenting unique opportunities for well-capitalized firms.
