Voter Bribery

Following the exposure of a recording in which MK Gilad Kariv calls on members of the "Democrats" party to help finance flights for friends and family abroad to vote in the upcoming elections, an official police complaint has been filed.

The "Fly & Vote" initiative offers Israelis abroad a subsidy for flight tickets to Israel to exercise their right to vote. Likud claims this activity constitutes the criminal offense of election bribery and violates the Party Funding Law.
