The local committee recommended depositing a plan for the construction of a new residential complex on HaAliya HaShniya Street in Bat Galim. Instead of eight housing buildings from the 1950s, about 800 housing units, 5,000 sqm of commercial space, and 1,500 sqm for public buildings will be built. The plan also allows for doubling the area of the "HaAliya" school.

Two Israeli universities have been ranked among the top 30 in the inaugural W5 index for "AI output" in academia. The Technion is ranked 25th, and Tel Aviv University is 28th.
