Snake

A resident of the German town of Schopfheim discovered a nearly meter-long snake curled up in her lingerie drawer. A reptile expert arrived at the scene, safely retrieved the animal with his bare hands, and confirmed it was a non-venomous corn snake.

An unexpected encounter occurred recently in the bedroom of a resident of Blerick in the Netherlands, after she discovered a snake crawling among the clothes that were lying on the floor. According to the Limburg police, the woman called the officers after the snake continued on its way and entered the wardrobe.

The new species, about 71 cm long, was discovered in the forests of New Guinea. The researcher who named it after the Guns N' Roses guitarist has admired Slash since her childhood and remembered his love for reptiles, museums, and zoos.

Both incidents occurred at the peak of the summer season. The 12-year-old was bitten by a viper while playing with his friends in the neighborhood, and the two-year-old was taken to the hospital with swelling in his leg.
