Prisoner Exchange

Moscow and Kyiv carried out another phase of prisoner exchange, with each side releasing 103 soldiers, mediated by the UAE. The deal joins a series of previous exchanges that have become one of the few coordination channels remaining open between the countries.

According to the report in the Lebanese newspaper, Israel offered the transfer of Jewish remains from Jewish cemeteries in Lebanon to Israel in exchange for the release of Lebanese civilians. In addition, the Lebanese delegation to the negotiations in Rome returned to Beirut without having managed to obtain any Israeli commitment to a ceasefire or to a reduction in military operations.
