Plea Deal

Alex Saab, a key financial confidant of Nicolás Maduro, has signed a plea deal with US authorities in Miami, agreeing to forfeit $195 million and cooperate with federal investigations into Venezuelan corruption.

Journalist Ayala Hasson intensifies her criticism of the State Attorney's Office and the Military Advocate General following reports of a potential plea deal: "She lied to the Supreme Court."

Following the Supreme Court's decision allowing the State Attorney's Office to resume handling the Military Advocate General's case, legal sources indicate that the suspended Military Advocate General, Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, is likely to receive a plea deal offer. She is expected to admit to the charges, effectively closing the case.

According to a report by i24NEWS, the Central District Attorney reached an agreement with Yonatan Urich for nine months of community service in the "Bild affair." While the Attorney General supported the plea deal, State Attorney Amit Aisman strongly opposed it and vetoed the move, causing the negotiations to collapse.
