Following last week's chaos and forecasts of over 100,000 daily passengers, operations at Ben Gurion Airport are relatively calm today. The last 24 hours have seen an improvement in flight departure and arrival times.

Following the chaos recorded at Ben Gurion Airport last Thursday, yesterday the airport handled 101,000 passengers without any significant delays. This occurred despite claims from the workers' committee regarding staff shortages and the deployment of headquarters personnel to assist in shifts. All eyes are now on the coming Thursday, which is marked as one of the busiest days of August.

Incheon Airport in South Korea has become the world's busiest airport for the first time, serving 38.4 million passengers in the first half of the year. The surge is attributed to infrastructure expansion and shifting global travel patterns.

Haifa Airport is facing significant congestion and parking shortages due to record-breaking passenger numbers this summer. Authorities are working on infrastructure upgrades to address the load.

The last 24 hours at Ben Gurion Airport were busy both in the air and on the ground. According to the Israel Airports Authority, the congestion is still ahead, as in August about 2.6 million passengers will pass through the airport.
