Nikola Jokic

Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos revealed his ambitious dream to bring NBA superstar Nikola Jokić to the Greek club, while praising the historic return of coach Željko Obradović.

Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic opened up in a recent podcast interview about his longing for anonymity, his relentless work ethic, and his passion for horses.

The intriguing battle between Victor Wembanyama and Nikola Jokic was decided this evening by a Maccabi Tel Aviv player. Jaylen Hoard scored the dramatic game-winning basket, giving the French national team a 91:90 victory in a preparation game against Serbia.

After 18 years and an impressive list of personal achievements, Russell Westbrook has retired. The all-time triple-double king says goodbye to the NBA with a career that could have been much greater, but was often managed more by instinct than by logic, as he never found the balance between his internal fire and the rationality that could have taken him further.

The owner of the Greek club approached Denver in an attempt to sign the three-time MVP, but the Nuggets rejected the offer. Giannakopoulos does not intend to give up and is already aiming for 2027/28.

In the US, they praised the former Maccabi Tel Aviv player amidst uncertainty regarding his place in the Nuggets' rotation: "He will take the reins in the minutes without Jokic on the floor"

The Serbian center has avoided a contract extension with Denver for the second consecutive summer and could become a free agent in 2027. Experts note that rivals are closely monitoring the situation.
