Modi'in Illit

A serious indictment alleges that a resident of Modi'in Illit offered a ride to a girl who crossed the road and drove her into an isolated area. The prosecution says the accused is charged with an indecent act offense after the girl begged him to take her back home.

The 18-year-old suspect was brought to court this morning after being arrested on suspicion of a severe assault on a bus driver in Modi'in Illit. At the police's request, his detention was extended by three days, until Thursday, for the purpose of continuing the investigation.

A package containing two liquid substances aroused the suspicion of branch employees after one of them began to leak. Firefighters evacuated the citizens, isolated the scene, and summoned monitoring teams to identify the substances and stop the leak.

The investigation was opened at the Mesubim station after information was received about threatening messages posted in a WhatsApp group and directed at the commander. The suspect was arrested and brought for questioning at the Mesubim station, at the end of which he was imprisoned.

Mika-Li, a 21-year-old woman who was referred for routine tests at a Leumit Health Fund branch in Modi'in Illit, arrived in a tank top and was asked to cover up. In an interview, she recounted what happened there. The Leumit Health Fund stated: "We apologize and are working to ensure that the incident does not recur."
