Google has dismantled a massive XCPE botnet affecting over 1.3 million Android TV devices, including popular MECOOL streamers in Israel. Manufactured by China's Videostrong Technology, the affected boxes bypassed security to enable remote surveillance, proxy routing, and ad fraud.
