Mcmurdo Station

An American citizen who fell ill was evacuated from a research station on the frozen continent in an extraordinary operation and was safely transferred for medical care in New Zealand. The pilot who led the rescue operation: "The conditions were really at the limit of the capability - even of the most special aircraft."
