Mass Brawl

Two security guards were lightly injured and 12 residents from the southern region were arrested following a mass brawl; the water park has been closed. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute between vacationers and lifeguards.

As part of police operations against illegal weapons and shooting incidents, Southern District officers and Border Police (Magav) were deployed to Rahat to quell a mass brawl. Two police officers were injured by stone-throwing and required medical treatment.

The brawl broke out against the backdrop of an ongoing dispute between families; participants used stones, sticks, and fireworks. Shuafat station officers and Yasam forces used riot dispersal measures to restore order.
