Gur

Administrators of the Gur Hasidic community in Arad issued strict guidelines for children visiting the newly acquired Arad Mall, permitting entry only for shopping with parental accompaniment and limiting store access to community-owned businesses.

The Gur Hasidic dynasty opposed Zionism but maintained practical ties with Eretz Yisrael and the State of Israel over the years, while sharply distancing itself from Satmar. Now, the current Admor's ties with a senior official in the community raise questions.

The Gur and Satmar Hasidic sects have formed an alliance to act against the State of Israel. The leaders are planning to establish a funded legal body to file complaints in international forums.
