Tel Aviv District Court Judge Oded Maor has ordered the Israel Prison Service (IPS) to respond within seven days to claims by a defendant accused of spying for Iran that he was denied food for 36 hours. The judge emphasized that detention does not strip an individual of their fundamental rights.
