Cholent Festival

Following public pressure and the intervention of the Mayor of Budapest, the route of a pro-Palestinian demonstration planned to take place at the entrance to the Cholent Festival was changed. Leaders of the Jewish community welcomed the move and emphasized that the Jews of Hungary will continue to live their community life openly and with pride.
