Choco

In Colombia, it was reported today, Thursday, that at least 319 people have died as a result of the earthquake that struck the country, while 260 people remain missing. Authorities confirmed 4,469 injuries and 364 successful rescues.

The epicenter of the quake was recorded in the Chocó department in the west of the country, at a depth of about 82 kilometers. Authorities have activated emergency protocols and are scanning the affected areas. As of now, no official estimate regarding casualties or property damage has been reported.
