The "Maafe Neeman" chain has inaugurated its 69th branch nationwide, backed by an investment of over 2 million shekels. The CEO promises a new culinary experience and special promotions throughout the coming month.

Expanding massively: The "Matuka" group is acquiring the veteran brand "Jacobs Bakery" in a deal estimated at approximately 4 million shekels. As part of the move, the group is entering the bread production field for the first time and establishing a series of new branches across the country, including at Ben Gurion Airport.

Pastry chains have raised the prices of honey cakes, which are especially associated with Rosh Hashanah, by 4% to 15% compared to previous Tishrei holidays. Chain owners explain that the price increases are due to rising costs of raw materials, production, operations, and labor, while others claim that the cakes that have increased in price are not at all identical to last year's cakes.
