Avi Kachon

Paraguay has requested to appoint Israeli TV presenter Avi Kachon as honorary consul, sparking criticism over his lack of ties to the country. The Foreign Ministry stated the process is ongoing.

Avi Kachon, presenter of the program "Almost Shabbat Shalom" on Keshet 12, is joining the public service and will serve as the spokesperson for the Harish municipality, following a dramatic year that included a high-profile divorce and a new, surprising relationship with Channel 14 presenter Maggi Tabibi.
