Alpha Therapy

New hope for patients with recurrent glioblastoma: Hadassah Medical Center in Ein Kerem has begun, for the first time in Israel, treating recurrent brain tumors using alpha radiation delivered directly into the tumor. The experimental procedure was performed on a 77-year-old patient as part of a clinical study.
