Yuval Raphael and Ido Malka have separated after about a year and a half: "We understand that we need to let go"

Drama in the Israeli entertainment world: Yuval Raphael and Ido Malka, who met and fell in love during their participation in the program "The Next Star for Eurovision", have decided to separate. Their relationship blossomed in front of the cameras during the reality season, in which Raphael took first place and won the right to represent Israel at Eurovision. Throughout the intense international journey—at the end of which Raphael reached a respectable second place in the European competition—Malka stood by her side, accompanying her closely and supporting her during the biggest moments.

The couple, who made their relationship official in February 2025, announced the end of their partnership through parallel and emotional posts on their Instagram accounts.

"After a beautiful period filled with true love, Yuval and I have decided to separate," Malka wrote to his followers. "I went through moments and experiences with Yuval that we will take with us for the rest of our lives, and therefore the separation is very painful for us. Sometimes, even when you love very much, you understand that you need to let go. I won't lie that this is a tough and not simple thing, and we would appreciate it if you respect our privacy."

Raphael backed up the words with a similar text:

"We went through a lot together. It is very painful and sad for both of us, but sometimes you understand that you need to let go with love and each continue on their own path. There is a lot of respect, appreciation, and friendship between us—and that is how it will always remain."

As recalled, Malka only recently parted ways with his professional home after just a year and a half and set out on a new, intriguing path. Now, the singer is experiencing another separation—this time on a personal level.
